Results are in from the Oct. 20 SunRype Okanagan Marathon

Okanagan Marathon results

Results are in from the SunRype Okanagan Marathon which took place on Oct. 20. 

The event was attended by more than 2000 participants, who took part in either the 10km, half-marathon or marathon. Each category offered run and walk options. 

The full marathon run event was won by Vik Bains, competing in the men's 30-39 year old age group. He completed the course with a time of 02:38:12.0.

Bains was followed closely by second place winner Richard Macdonald with a time of 02:39:14.0.

The top female in the marathon run was Kailyn Nelson who competed in the 20-29 year old age group and passed the finish line in 03:05:45.0.

North Vancouver resident Craig Dale took out the top spot in the half-marathon run with a time of 01:14:15.0, and the 10km run was won by Kelowna local Jeff Vogt in just over 32 minutes.
