Kelowna Rotary looking for relatives of honoured fallen heroes

Do you know a fallen hero?

Are you related to one of the fallen heroes named on the Kelowna Cenotaph, or know somebody who is?

The Field of Crosses is a visual memorial where 240 white crosses are installed close to the Cenotaph at City Park, to commemorate the lives of the Canadian Armed Forces personnel who lost their lives in the service of their country.

The Kelowna Rotary Club is inviting any Kelowna residents who are relatives of fallen heroes named on the Cenotaph to be recognized at the opening ceremonies on Nov. 4.

However, they do not have a full list of family members and relatives to reach out to, and are asking for the public's assistance to help find those families.

If you have any information or are a relative of someone listed on the Cenotaph, please contact Kelowna Rotary Club's Carol Eamer at [email protected]
