Interview series with Central Okanagan federal candidates

Castanet has invited all the Central Okanagan federal candidates for sit-down video interviews as election day approaches on Oct. 21.

First up is incumbent Kelowna-Lake Country Liberal MP Stephen Fuhr.

Fuhr says it is important voters consider the policies they are backing, not just the person they like best. 

"Whether people vote for the leader, the party or the candidate, what they're voting for at the end of the day is their supporting policy. So, when I have this conversation, I'd say, think about the policies and whether or not those policies are delivering better outcomes for you and your family or for the community. If the answer is yes, then I think people should focus on supporting policies that deliver these better outcomes.

"All I can do is give people something to vote for."
