2 injured in RV fire

Two people were injured as a result of a fire in Lake Country Wednesday evening.

Fire Chief Steve Windsor says crews were called out to an RV on fire at Wood Lake Terrace on Pelmewash Parkway about 9 p.m.

The first crews to arrive found the RV fully involved, and threatening a number of nearby units.

"Crews had to truck water to the scene. As a result, four engines and a tender responded," said Windsor.

"One neighbour and one firefighter were treated by BC Ambulance at the scene."

The extent of injuries are not known.

RCMP have taken control of the investigation.

No word yet as to what caused the fire.
