Landmark District grows
Ground has officially broken for Landmark 7, the newest tower to join the growing Landmark District in Kelowna.
And the new District Market on the former site of the original Turner Volkswagen building officially opens today.
Landmark 7 will stand 23 storeys tall, offering plenty of commercial space and some of the best views in the city.
The Landmark District hosts more than 3,500 people who work across several industries including technology, professional services, education, retail and more. And that is anticipated to increase as Kelowna’s population is expected to grow by 50,000 during the next 20 years.
The District Market brings several new dining options to the area, including: vegetarian eatery Frankie We Salute You!, Canadian fast food outlet Freshii, Quesada Burrito & Taco, and Vietnamese restaurant Yellow Star Snack House.
The market will also be home to Pace Spin Studio.
“We are really excited about the quality of tenants we have secured for the new District Market and are pleased to provide some new dining choices for the tenants and residents of the Landmark District,” said marketing agent Dallas Gray.
The coming Landmark 7 tower is now pre-leasing space.
