In an instant, life was turned upside down for nine-year-old Henry Debowski and his mom, Bristol.
Henry was recently diagnosed with Leukemia and will spend the next six to eight months at Vancouver Children's Hospital.
Bristol is taking time away from work to be by his side.
The community is rallying to help Henry and his mom.
A GoFundMe page has been set up and a fundraiser is being held at Doc Willoughbys today from 6-9 p.m.
For $25, you get a meal and a drink with a portion of the proceeds going to Henry and his mom. Tickets can be purchased on the EventBrite website or at the door.
