May the odds be ever in your favour at the Hungry Games 2.0.
The obstacle course tested the best waiters and waitress in Kelowna on Tuesday – all for a good cause.
The fun-filled day was put on by The Industry Project at Central Sports Club.
T.I.P. is a Kelowna fundraising organization working to connect the restaurant industry with local charities.
So far, the organization has raised over $30,000 for Okanagan charities, including JoeAnna's House at Kelowna General Hospital.
The Hungry Games included a fun relay-style tray race among restaurants, with teams of 5-10 people, said co-ordinator Kaitelyn Dickie.
''As servers we already ‘tip out’ a portion of our daily sales to our support staff.... A commitment to T.I.P. means donating only one per cent of your sales each shift over two weeks in November to benefit a local charity.
"We want to involve servers from the community to ignite passion in their restaurants and to encourage their service team to be a part of the campaign,'' she added.
