Sunrise, sunburn, sunset repeat!
According to Environment Canada the Okanagan Valley could be in store for some record-breaking temperatures today.
The official record for March 20 in Kelowna is 16.2 C set in 1988. The forecast for Kelowna today is 16 C.
Penticton set a record back in 1928 with a record of 17.8. Today the city forecasts a high of 16.5 C.
Vernon could also see a record set in 1915 broken, the record high stands at 15.6 C. Today, Environment Canada forecasts a high of 15 C.
''It looks like today is going to be the peak of the warmth and then temperatures do moderate a little bit on the weekend with some showers rolling through Friday. It does look like the rest of the month is going to end on a warm note, with temperatures in the teens for the daytime high temperatures through the rest of the month,'' said Carmen Hartt, with Environment Canada.
