Hwy 33 a skating rink

Emergency crews are on the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 33 near Springfield Road in Kelowna. 

The crash reportedly happened just after 3:30 p.m. 

A witness said at least three vehicles were involved and injuries looked minor in nature. 

"Highway 33 is a skating rink,'' a Castanet viewer wrote in. 

Icy conditions were believed to be a factor in the collision.
