If you've heard buzzing over Mission Creek this week, it's most likely some aerial survey work being done by drone along Kelowna's Mission Creek Greenway.
Regional parks crews are surveying the Greenway's bridges (Friends, Cedar and Smoothing Stones) and their approaches, upstream from the Scenic Canyon Regional Park entrance at Hollywood Road.
Park users may temporarily be stopped while the work is in progress.
A drone is being used to provide aerial imagery and topographical information to assist in future repairs to bridge abutment infrastructure.
The work should wrap up on Friday.
