Daredevil deed on Harvey

A motorcycle daredevil pulled a stunt on Harvey Ave. recently.

This photo taken Friday, September 21 and sent to Castanet by a tipster shows a man standing on the seat of his chopper right by the Asian Pear Restaurant sign in the 2000 block of Harvey Ave. in Kelowna.

The man is dressed in a black leather biker vest and biker boots riding a chopper with Alberta tags.

At least the unknown stunt driver was wearing a helmet.

Some motorcyclists maintain the bike is very stable at 50 Km/h, while safety experts strongly advise against this dangerous manoeuvre, pointing out it's not only dangerous for the driver but also for anyone else on the road should the driver lose control and crash.

RCMP tell Castanet, if caught, the driver could face several charges under the BC Motor Vehicle Act and a possible seven-day impound of his bike for stunting.
