Bringing luxury to storage

There's storage lockers, and then there are The Vaults.

A premium secured storage facility in Kelowna will be the company's second location, following the first in Calgary.

Construction will begin this fall on the 19-unit luxury storage condo development at Airport Business Park.

Units come with a spacious mezzanine, three-piece bathroom and are customizable, with sizes from 1,678 square feet to more than 4,000.

“When we developed our first location in Calgary, we set our sights on establishing a higher standard than has been seen in similar developments," says company president Joe Mahovlich. "Working with our design team, unit owners can create their own inspirational space that also delivers privacy and peace of mind through our secured storage solution. We are now set to expand our brand throughout Canada and are pleased to have selected Kelowna as our second location.”

Concrete construction, built-in fire suppression and air detection systems add another layer of security. And, if Calgary is any example, the facility will likely be home to custom and exotic cars, high-dollar RVs and other collectibles.

The Calgary location also includes a private members' lounge and wash bay.

Unit pre-sales will begin in Kelowna on Sept. 10.
