Actor Nic Cage appears to be enjoying himself in the Okanagan this summer.
He's been spotted all over Kelowna this week, and those who have had the opportunity to meet the Hollywood star are impressed by his approachability.
Alex Baker works at Wentworth Music in Kelowna, and he convinced the "Leaving Las Vegas" star to snap a photo with him in front of the music store, "I had the extreme pleasure to meet the legendary Nicolas Cage at my workplace Wentworth Music! Figured I’d send in a picture! Definitely within the top five most exciting things that have happened to me!"
Baker is just one of many who have had brushes with the famous star who is in town shooting his new movie, “A Score to Settle.”
Cage and film crews have also be filming scenes at the Mission Meadows strata complex, where another reader sent in pictures of the actor.
It’s not the first time Cage has visited the Okanagan. He was in the sci-fi action thriller, "The Humanity Bureau", which was shot last April in Oliver and the Osoyoos area.
My personal favourite is "Vampire's Kiss", Nic really showed off his acting range and comedic prowess in that gem!
