Kelowna Actors Studio executive director Nathan Flavel is warning theatre-goers of a glut of websites offering tickets for their summer production at marked-up prices.
Flavel says tickets for the summer production of Mamma Mia either are "extremely overpriced," or "just simply do not exist" in some cases.
Tickets for the production of Mamma Mia, which runs from Aug. 2 to Aug 11 at the Kelowna Community Theatre, start at $52, plus taxes and fees.
The only outlet licenced to sell the tickets is Kelowna Tickets.
However, a Google search of "Mamma Mia tickets Kelowna" brings up four sites claiming to have tickets for sale.

The prices indicated are the highest offered.
Flavel says the sites don't appear to be reputable.
"They don't do actual seat numbers, they just give you rows," he says.
"There was one site advertising tickets that were less than ours, but they were for a row that is sold out. Those tickets are for subscribers and I know they are not looking at reselling their tickets."
Flavel says Mamma Mia is the fastest selling production the Actors Studio has ever had, but adds there are still tickets available for each of the performances.
