Afternooner in the park!?

Castanet has received a graphic photo illustrating serious issues in City Park in Kelowna.

The photo shows two people, one on top of the other right across the street from the Prestige Hotel on the grass under a blanket, who appear to be having sex.

There is also a graphic video which we have chosen not to publish due to its graphic nature.

The incident happened in broad daylight in the middle of the afternoon, 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.

One person can be seen on top of another in full view of traffic and passersby. Cars stopped waiting for the light to change so they could turn off Abbott Street onto the Bridge could clearly see the show as well.

The anonymous contributor says people were videoing and taking photos. Some laughing, some looking on in disgust. They also indicate police were notified but didn't arrive until well after the act had finished and more people had arrived to join the pair.

The tipster rightly points out this is where visitors and tourists pass by when they come to visit Kelowna.
