Madison Erhardt

Environment Canada forecasts a hot and sunny week.

Six solid days of sunshine are expected, with rain cooling things off on Sunday.

"Seasonal averages this year run around 17 C. We will run about five to 10 degrees above normal for the week," says meteorologist Ross McDonald.

The mercury should reach a high of 18 C today, under sunny skies.

Tuesday and Wednesday, the Okanagan will start to get into the twenties, and Thursday should be a scorcher with a forecast high of 25 C.

Friday is calling for 23 C and more sunshine.

Into the weekend, Saturday's your best bet for outdoor fun, with a high of 21 C and a mix of sun and cloud.

Sunday, things are expected to cool off, with a high of 18 C and showers.
