Full day of sunshine

The Okanagan is in for a full day of sunshine this Family Day. 

Environment Canada forecasts a high of -5 C and mainly sunny, with cloudy periods towards late afternoon. 

"We will be seeing temperatures on the cool side for the next couple of days. There is a frontal system coming through on Tuesday we could see some snow this week," said Alyssa Charbonneau, Meteorologist Environment Canada. 

Tuesday will see a high of -2 C with periods of snow beginning in the afternoon. Approximately two centimeters is expected. 

Wednesday should reach a high of plus 1 and a 60 per cent chance of flurries.

Thursday and Friday are looking nice. Environment Canada forecasts plus 1 and a mix of sun and cloud. 

Both Saturday and Sunday are calling for snow off and on. 

Saturday will see a high of 3 C and a 60 per cent chance of flurries or rain showers. 

Sunday is sitting at 2 C with flurries off and on during the afternoon.
