For the fourth year in a row, artists gathered in Kelowna to raise money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
This year's Art Attack event was held at Kelowna's Bean Scene coffee shop Thursday night.
Eight Okanagan-based artists had just one hour to create a unique piece of art, as dozens of attendees watched their progress.
Once they were done, the pieces were bid on, with proceeds benefiting heart disease research.
This year, $5,000 was raised at the event.
“It keeps growing every year, there's a lot of interest,” said Wendy Wright with the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
“For our supporters, it's a great way to make a donation but also acquire a beautiful, unique piece of art.”
Kelowna artists Jolene Mackie and Leanne Spanza have participated in every Art Attack event since it began.
