More snow, rain ahead

Madison Erhardt

Winter isn't finished yet in the Okanagan.

Environment Canada forecasts several days of showers and possible flurries this week.

"We are still looking at the ridge of high pressure hanging over the Pacific and much of B.C.,"  says meteorologist Cindy Yu. "The setup is very similar to what we saw on the weekend. There is a chance of flurries for Monday and Tuesday."

Today will see a high of 2 C, flurries ending this afternoon, then clouds with a 60 per cent chance of showers or flurries overnight.

Tuesday should see a high of zero, with a 40 per cent chance of showers late in the afternoon and possible snow.

On Wednesday, the valley could see two to four centimetres of the white stuff late in the evening. Environment Canada forecasts a high of 6 C.

Friday and Saturday call for a high of 1 C and a mix of sun and cloud. Sunday cloudy, again a high of 1 C.
