$1,500 reward for Ollie

Ollie's owners are worried and helpless, thousands of miles away, as their pet is missing.

The Wheaton terrier went missing after he bolted while on a walk, Friday. It was last spotted running towards Gordon Drive, up Old Meadows Road.

His owners are on their honeymoon in New Zealand. They've posted a $1,500 reward for the person who finds Ollie.

"People have been out all times of day searching for him," a friend told Castanet.

And family members have taken to social media to help in the search.

"Ollie is a rescue who is extremely shy. He may have a retractable leash attached and could be caught up somewhere," Laurie Bockmann Stickle posted to the Kelowna/Okanagan Lost And Found Pets Facebook group.

"He was abused in a puppy mill and is very scared. Best not approached or if approached, squatting reaching with palms up. He's my daughter's dog who is on her honeymoon, and he accidentally escaped from the person who was babysitting him," Bockmann added.

If you spot Ollie, call 250-470-3358.
