Bring the family out for an unforgettable, fantastic and funny production of Shrek the Musical.
The musical is produced by Ryan Grenier and Okanagan Mission Secondary school.
More than 40 students are participating in the musical with the cast involving grades seven up to 12.
It takes Shrek over an hour to prepare.
"I have a cowl which goes over my entire head and then I have a separate eyebrow piece, and mouthpiece. I also have a ton of makeup over my face and lips," said actor Will Oxtoby.
For those who have seen the classic hit, OKM promises to tell the tale, but features a new spin.
"You can expect to see some fun dance numbers. The original Shrek movie is perfect for adding dance and it wasn't in there. Now to see it live on stage, it brings that extra dimension to the characters," Oxtoby added.
Shows start Jan. 31 and run though Feb. 11.
