Some of your favourite Montreal Canadiens alumni will be back on the ice in Kelowna.
The Central Okanagan Hospice Association (COHA) has teamed up with former NHLers for an afternoon hockey fans won't forget.
The Montreal Canadiens Alumni will battle the COHA Knights on Feb. 17, at 2:00 p.m. in the Memorial Arena.
"We are pretty excited. It's something unique and different to COHA. It reaches not only seniors, but all ages. We are also including the Kelowna Minor Hockey League. A number of players will get to participate in the event," said Nica Graziotto, Associate Director.
Canadiens players such as Patrice Brisebois, Marc Andre Bergeron, Stephane Richer, Chris Nilan will lace up their skates and play against some very skilled and talented COHA Knights like Brent Gilchrest, Wade Redden, Quintin Laing, Cory Cross and Tyler Bouck.
Tickets on sale now at KelownaTickets.com or call 250-862-2867. General Admission is $20 or $70 for a Family of 4. You can also purchase a $75 ticket as a VIP which includes a private reception with the players after the game.
All of the money raised will go directly to support the Central Okanagan Hospice Association.
