Jury for B&E sex assault

A jury has been selected for the trial of a Peachland man accused of sexually assaulting two women while they slept.

Shea Gardecki is facing two counts of sexual assault and one count of breaking and entering from an Aug. 23, 2016,  Kelowna incident.

The 39 year old was arrested near the incident in the area of Clifton Road and Clement Avenue.

RCMP said a man gained entry into a home through an opened door and once inside allegedly inappropriately touched the two women while they were sleeping.

The woman woke and demanded the stranger leave.

A boyfriend of one of the women chased the man out of the home.

Police arrested Gardecki with the help of a police dog. He was released on bail a few days later.

The trial will begin at the Kelowna Law Courts on Wednesday.
