A new documentary on aging and your brain is screening at UBCO at the end of the month.
Castanet got an exclusive preview when one of the film's producer's, Laurent Goldstein walked into our studio on Lawrence street recently.
"You should be like a candle and burn, burn, burn and then (snaps!)" says Dr. Dain Heer in the video.
Laurent Goldstein Vancouver based film and documentary producer asks the question in his film, "how old would you be if you didn't know how old you were?"
Experts in brain plasticity like Dr. Daniel Amen, Dr. Bruce Lipton, and local Kelowna Dr. Grant Pagdin, an M.D. who does stem cell rejuvenation at the Pagdin clinic in Kelowna will be at the event.
"He's gonna be there as part of a panel of experts who will be taking questions from the audience after the screening."
The idea is to inspire people to live the second part of their lives after 50 to the fullest and to make it as exciting if not more so than the first 50.
The film will be screened at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30 at the UBCO University Theatre. Tickets are available at Choices Market.
