NBA dancer to Kelowna

Former NBA Toronto Raptors dancer Mahta Sadi left Toronto to pursue a career in real estate, but she soon ended up right back on the dance floor.

"Within a few months of moving to Kelowna I realized how much I missed dancing. I decided to put on a couple classes. I saw the interest and talent that Kelowna has," said Sadi

Sadi then decided to put together a ten week training program with a show at the end of the ten weeks.

"We have managed to pull it together. The girls have put a lot of extra practise time in," she added.

The show will feature a fusion of dance styles, culture, and other creative arts.

Dipp Dance is performing three shows this weekend.

Tickets are still available by purchase at the door for Saturday Nov. 18 at 7 p.m.
