Brinks strike to hit Kelowna

Brinks employees who say they feel unsafe at their jobs are on the verge of a strike.

The union representing the armoured car company employees in British Columbia and Ontario issued strike notice to Brinks Canada Ltd. Oct. 15, and its members are set to hit the picket lines Wednesday evening.

Unifor represents more than 1,000 Brinks employees in Ontario and B.C., including 35 in Kelowna.
