Action-packed Culture Days

More than 50 events are planned over next three days as Kelowna joins the rest of the country in celebrating Culture Days.

The eighth annual event highlights art, music, culture and unique experiences throughout the city, beginning Friday and running through Sunday.

Activities in Kelowna include Symphony at the Library, Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society Blanket Exercise, Japanese Tea Ceremony, Classical Arts 101 Series, Theatre workshops, and a Nuit Blanche kickoff concert to start the weekend.

“Culture Days is a unique opportunity for people to try new things and experience arts and culture in a new way,” said Caroline Ivey, cultural services co-ordinator.

“The weekend is packed full of a variety of activities, and there is definitely something for everyone to enjoy. So come out and explore the many aspects of your creative community.”
