Blistering growth at a trio of Kelowna startups has landed all three businesses among exclusive company.
Kelowna-based Strawhouse has been named the fastest-growing startup in Canada.
Strawhouse, 5 Point Operations, and Refresh Financial were all named to the STARTUP 50 list.
The list of the 50 fastest-growing startups in the country is exhaustively researched, and acts as a companion to the PROFIT 500 ranking of the country’s fastest-growing companies.
Strawhouse stood far and above the competition, with more than 3,000 per cent growth over a two-year period, and $50 million to $100 million in revenue during 2016.
Kelowna's 5 Point Operations landed in 12th place on the list, while Refresh Financial made cut for the second year in a row.
“I’m super proud to be listed with this group,” said 5 Point partner Gord Oliver. “I had a chance to look through some of the companies that are on that list, and we’re happy to be named with all of them.”
