Car fire near airport

Emergency crews were called to Highway 97 near the Kelowna airport after a car caught fire.

Witnesses tell Castanet the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames by the time crews arrived at around 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

There is no word or any injuries associated with the incident.
