Cars stolen from dealership

Police are searching for a pair of vehicles stolen from a Kelowna auto dealer and then used in additional crimes.

Just before 9 a.m. Monday, RCMP responded to a break and enter at a dealership on the 2400 block of Enterprise Way.

Suspects gained entry and grabbed keys left by service department customers.

A white 2015 Dodge Challenger, with B.C. licence plate AK693L, and a grey 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee with B.C. licence plate EN986C were stolen from the lot, along with additional licence plates.

At least one attempted shoplifting incident in West Kelowna and an attempted break and enter to another business on Enterprise Way are believed to be related to the stolen Challenger.

“RCMP continue to search for both stolen vehicles,” says Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey. “If you spot either of the vehicles occupied or abandoned, do not approach them and call police immediately."

Anyone with information is asked to call Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
