It's gonna be a scorcher

The Okanagan is in for another hot week. 

Intense winds that whipped through the valley Sunday won't be a factor today. 

Environment Canada is forecasting gentle breezes of 20 km/h this afternoon.  

Today and Tuesday are calling for local smoke, with highs of 30 C and sunshine. 

Wednesday will be the hottest day of the week, at 34 C.

Thursday, and Friday should see sunshine and 31 degrees.

The weekend should offer great beach weather, with forecast highs of 33 C under sunny skies.
