A Kelowna man involved in a horrific workplace accident last month continues to show steady improvement in hospital.
Braden Kapchinsky suffered burns to more than half his body when the building he was working on at the Central Green development caught fire.
Fire crews were able to rescue him through a third floor window with the use of a ladder truck.
He was rushed to Kelowna General Hospital before being airlifted to the burn unit at Vancouver General Hospital.
According to information on a Go Fund Me Page, Kapchinsky has been moved from ICU to the hospital's burn unit.
He also recently had a fourth skin graft with no major complications.
He is breathing now on his own.
Since the Go Fund Me campaign was launched four weeks ago, $13,435 of the $15,000 target has been raised.
The Fund was set up to help relieve the burden on the family so they can be by his side.
Kapchinsky has a wife and two boys.
