Horgan courts seniors

Madison Erhardt

BC NDP Leader John Horgan sat down with seniors in Kelowna to hear their main election issues.

He addressed the seven seniors in attendance saying, "seniors' care has been reduced over time, and you built this province. Were it not for you, we wouldn't have the abundance and the bounty that we all experience in this great province."

NDP candidates Shelley Cook, Erik Olesen and Harwinder Sandhu were also in attendance. They listened as the seven seniors talked about their current issues with the health care system.

"This just a flavour of some of the issues that seniors are talking about right across B.C. and it's time we had a government that is working for these people and seniors in every corner of the province," Horgan said.
