Kelowna Secondary might be setting a precedent when it comes to using cell phones in schools.
The school's principal, Susannah Brown, is advising her teachers to make sure students have put away their cell phones during exams.
She's heard of a number of reports of students using either e-mail text messages or photos to cheat on exams.
"Cheating on exams has entered a whole new generation," says Brown. "I'm sure it might set a precedent right across the province, if not the country."
