
Kelowna RCMP have arrested two men in connection with a rash of vehicle thefts in Kelowna during the past few weeks.
Kody James Phillips, 27, and Joshua Albert Fleurant, 18, were arrested Sept. 6 in connection with the thefts.
According to police, the Kelowna RCMP Street Enforcement Team, with the assistance of a police dog, arrested the pair.
Phillips has since been charged with one count of possession of break-in instruments and three counts of theft of a motor vehicle. He is scheduled to appear in Court on Oct. 1.
Fleurant faces 11 counts of possession of stolen property and theft of a motor vehicle.
He has since entered a guilty plea and remains in custody.
