A couple hundred FortisBC customers will be without power Tuesday in downtown Kelowna.
The planned outage will affect 220 customers in the 1900 block of Pandosy Street and will be for equipment upgrades.
FortisBC reminds people to protect their electronics using surge-protecting power bars and to conserve their cellphone batteries.
The outage is scheduled between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
