$20,000 has gone up in smoke.

A motorhome, which was for sale at the time, was destroyed by flames Wednesday morning in Kelowna.

The big unit was parked on the side of Lakeshore Road, in front of the Shasta mobile home park, when it caught fire..

The motorhome was not insured.

It was completely destroyed.

Fire officials say the motorhome was running at the time.

It is believed the fire started in the air conditioning unit.

Thick dark smoke could be seen billowing up from the scene before firefighters knocked it down.

Utility lines and a power pole were also damaged by the fire.

More details to follow.
