Gordon Sagar won $100,000 from a BCLC scratch and win ticket.
A Kamloops man is looking to purchase a new truck after winning $100,000 from a BCLC scratch and win game.
In a news release from BCLC, Gordon Sagar said he purchased the Luxury Crossword Scratch & Win game from Canco on Tranquille Road, and scanned the ticket using the Lotto App when he got home.
Sagar said he was shocked and ecstatic to discover he had won the top prize.
“I couldn’t believe it,” he said, adding he first shared the news with his daughter who was asleep at the time.
“I woke her up and she couldn’t believe it either."
Sagar said he looks forward to getting a new truck with his prize money.
