Mother of missing man Ryan Shtuka plans book signing at Kamloops Chapters

The mother of a young man who vanished nearly five years ago from Sun Peaks will be in Kamloops next month for a book signing.

Heather Shtuka will be at Chapters, 1395 Hillside Dr., on Feb. 18 signing copies of her Amazon best-seller Missing From Me.

Shtuka told Castanet last month that she was “overwhelmed” by support for the book, which details the first year after her son, Ryan, went missing.

Ryan Shtuka was last seen on Feb. 17, 2018, at a house party in Sun Peaks.

Next month will mark five years since Ryan’s disappearance. Heather said she and her family will be in Sun Peaks for a candlelight vigil on Feb. 17.
