All lanes open again following earlier fire on Yellowhead near Clearwater

DriveBC says regular traffic has resumed on Highway 5 east of Clearwater, where an earlier vehicle fire had the highway closed.

According to DriveBC, single-lane alternating traffic is now moving on Highway 5 east of Clearwater.

The Yellowhead Highway is closed in the North Thompson on Thursday morning as crews deal with a vehicle fire.

According to DriveBC, Highway 5 is closed in both directions east of Clearwater.

Drivers are being told to drive carefully and watch for traffic control.
