Highway 5 is now open again between Boulder Mountain Rd and Bowden Rd.

Drivers on Highway 5 north of Kamloops are being told to expect delays following reports of a major collision on Wednesday afternoon.

According to DriveBC, crews are en route to a report of a “major vehicle incident” in the Darfield area north of Barriere.

Motorists are being told to drive carefully and expect delays.

The highway was closed in the Barriere area due to an unrelated crash on Wednesday morning.
