A missing SUV from New Westminster was found in Kamloops, with two wanted occupants, police say.
On Sept. 3, at about 11:42 a.m., Mounties said they went to 1800-block of Tranquille Road, where a man in a green SUV was allegedly doing drugs in the driver’s seat.
When they arrived, officers discovered the vehicle had been reported as taken without consent in New Westminster, and both its occupants were wanted on arrest warrants, police said.
According to police, both people in the SUV were taken into police custody, and later released following a bail hearing.
