Shot Of Gold label
Paralympic gold medalist Greg Stewart and five local breweries have teamed up to raise money for Canadian athletes.
Shot of Gold, a golden ale beer, is the product of Iron Road Brewing, The Noble Pig, Red Collar, Alchemy Brewing Company and Bright Eye Brewing, in partnership with Stewart.
A portion of the sales of Shot Of Gold will go to Canadian Athletes Now Fund — also known as CanFund.
CanFund is an organization that helps Olympic and Paralympic athletes with a $6,000 grant each year. Stewart received support from the organization on his way to Tokyo.
The new beer will debut Thursday at 5 p.m. at The Noble Pig.
