Firefighters clean up following a house fire Friday morning on Fifth Avenue near Nicola Street.

Firefighters are on scene at a home in downtown Kamloops on Friday following a morning fire.

Emergency crews were called to a home on Fifth Avenue near Nicola Street at about 7 a.m. for a report of a fire.

Crews were still on scene mopping up at 9 a.m.
