Crews have arrived at the scene and the highway is down to single-lane alternating traffic two kilometres north of Monte Lake Rd.

Snowy, icy conditions are causing problems on Highway 97 between Kamloops and Vernon.

Drive BC says crews are en route to a vehicle incident on Highway 97 two kilometres north of Monte Lake Rd. in Monte Creek.

Earlier in the day, there was another crash west of Falkland. It has since been cleared.

DriveBC traffic cameras showed varying conditions on the route throughout Wednesday, with snow flurries, melting and then freezing, leaving slushy and icy conditions on some sections into the evening.
