A Kamloops man was arrested Wednesday after someone threw eggs at protestors along Columbia Street, marching in opposition to B.C.’s COVID-19 vaccine passport program.
According to a news release from Kamloops RCMP, Mounties monitoring the protest march spotted the egg-thrower at about 12:30 p.m.
“The man was arrested and lodged in cells, where he was later released with a court date pending the investigation’s conclusion and subsequent charge recommendation,” RCMP Const. Crystal Evelyn said.
Evelyn said the man threw multiple eggs at a number of people.
