Distinct food truck stolen

UPDATED: 1:56 p.m.

Police say they are investigating the theft of a distinct pizza truck stolen overnight from a downtown parking lot — and Mounties in neighbouring communities are keeping an eye out for it, as well.

The Gyldi’s Pizza truck was missing from a parking lot at 341 West Victoria St. on Thursday morning when its owners showed up for work.

“We have received the report and are investigating,” RCMP Const. Crystal Evelyn told Castanet Kamloops.

“The vehicle is still listed as stolen and a description of it has been sent to neighbouring detachments, as well as Kamloops officers.”

Anyone with information about the theft or the location of the truck can call police at 250-828-3000.
