Kamloops Fire Rescue crews snuff out chimney fire at Juniper Ridge home

Kamloops Fire Rescue responded to a chimney fire on Thursday at a home on Qu'Appelle Boulevard, across the street from Juniper Ridge elementary.

Kamloops firefighters made quick work of a small fire at a house Thursday in Juniper Ridge.

The call, at a home on Qu’Appelle Boulevard across the street from Juniper Ridge elementary, came in at about 5 p.m.

The home’s residents were able to safely get outside after calling 911.

Four Kamloops Fire Rescue engines were on scene as crews worked on the roof to snuff the flames.

The blaze was confined to the home’s chimney.
