Men facing drug charges

Two Kamloops men are facing drug-related charges stemming from an investigation that began last year.

Cody Lee Arthur Housego and Darcy Dean Anderson were arrested and later released in November as part of an ongoing drug investigation, according to Kamloops Mounties.

Prosecutors recently approved charges against the pair. Housego, 26, is facing one count of possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, while Anderson, 32, is facing two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count each of possessing break-in instruments and possessing an identity document without lawful excuse.

Anderson is expected to appear in court on March 11, while Housego’s next appearance is slated to take place on March 29.
