Season three of Rust Valley Restorers gets set to premiere

Rust Bros ready to go

Mike Hall and the crew at Rust Bros Restoration are getting set for Season 3 of Rust Valley Restorers, premiering Thursday.

Despite the setbacks caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Hall and his team were able to restore some cars and put together a season.

"We set a new record for filming days this year," Hall told Castanet Kamloops.

This will be the first season Avery Shoaf won't be in Rust Bros shop, but in his own restoration store.

Kamloops hot-rod shop Dubs Kustoms, owned and operated by James West, also makes significant appearances on the show this season.

"Last year we did four shows. And this year it's eight or nine, but basically double," West said.

While all parties involved love the production and the show, it's a lot of work they are happy to see hitting the screen.

Season three of Rust Valley Restorers premiers at 9 p.m. Thursday on the History Channel, and can also be viewed on Amazon's StackTV. Previous seasons can be viewed on Netflix.

Hall said he's looking forward to the last episode of the season, but he won't give it away.

"It's the most complicated build we've done in three years," he said.
